3-4 Hour Coffee Consumer Course
The coffee consumer course is designed for people interested in learning more about coffee, why it is a popular beverage, and how to successfully brew coffee at home. This course is laid-back, informational, and engaging for everyone from the beginner coffee drinker all the way to the complete coffee guru! The course includes:
+ Introductory Coffee History and Facts about Coffee
+ How to Identify Quality Coffee
+ Brewing Methods-Grinding, Measuring, and Pouring
+ How to Brew at Home without Coffee Gadgets
SCA Certified Courses - Coffee Skills Program
At Harakati Coffee we offer advanced courses for coffee professionals in Barista Skills and Roasting. These courses are certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. Once completed, one must pass a standardized exam in order to get a certificate directly from the SCA. Each module has a Foundation, Intermediate, and Professional level course. We also offer the foundational Introduction to Coffee course from the SCA as well.
